GREAT NOVELS FOR READING

Novels By Michael Crichton

Crichton has written many novels and he as a similar theme or style in all. Yet what is unique with his novels is his topics. He has done everything from rampaging dinosaurs to a sexual harassment novel. They are of such quality that many of them have been made into movies.

JURASSIC PARK is my favorite Crichton novel because of it's originality and ingenuity. It takes place on an island 90 miles off the coast of Costa Rica where a new theme park featuring real, live dinosaurs is awaiting it's grand opening. Although during it's final inspection something goes horribly wrong and the prehistoric animals escape. This novel is nonstop excitement!

THE LOST WORLD is the sequal to JURASSIC PARK. It continues the story by telling of the discovery of a second island now overrun by dinosaurs. A team must go out and document what has happened.

Another great Crichton book is THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN. The story is about how a team of scientists has to figure out how to stop a lethal virus while also battling time.
